HM-11 Bluetooth 4.0 BLE Module for DIY iOS Devices

This Bluetooth 4.0 LE module supports iOS devices such as iPhone and iPad, but does not support Android phones with a version lower than 4.3 (it does not support classic Bluetooth 2.0 SPP features). The operating voltage ranges from 3.6V to 6V.

The AT commands of the HM-11 module are fully compatible with those of the HM-10 module. This Bluetooth module can be set to master mode or slave mode through AT commands, and can even work in iBeacon mode. Additionally, it supports Apple Notification Center Service (ANCS).

To enable the Apple Notification Center Service (ANCS) function: 1. Read the Apple notification document. 2. Send the AT+TYPE3 command to change to AUTH and BOND mode. 3. Send the AT+ANCS1 command to open ANCS. 4. Send the AT+PASS[para1] command to set the passcode (default passcode is "000000"). 5. Send the AT+RESET command to restart the module. You can now use LightBlue to scan and connect with the module. iOS will prompt you to input the passcode.
